Dina Meyer is an New York native who was brought up in Forest Hills Queens. She moved into Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her senior high school. Her siblings include two younger ones and an older brother. In the years between nine to 16, her first exposure to the business world was when she began modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. It took around three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the actors that received this instruction. The actress was a part of Beverly Hills in 90210, but had move to Los Angeles to take the role. Soon after, she scored the lead in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her stunts herself, and established herself as an athlete. Her talent agent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
